Paloma Picasso by Paloma Picasso is a Chypre Floral fragrance for women, launched in 1984.

The perfume crafted by Paloma Picasso, daughter of the famous painter, serves as her fragrant self-portrait. With a maternal grandfather who was a perfumer, she grew up familiar with the art of blending scents. Her artistic talents, inherited from her father, led to a successful career in jewelry design for Yves Saint Laurent and Tiffany & Co.

Inspired by her favorite fragrance, Chanel Nº 5, she sought to create a perfume with an aldehydic accord. Red, her favorite color, and black, a symbol of power, influenced the design. The result is an elegant floral chypre with a Mediterranean flair. Despite its complexity making it challenging to market, she was determined to preserve the original formula, which remained unchanged.

Paloma Picasso’s Eau de Parfum unfolds a floral harmony of jasmine, hyacinth, ylang-ylang, and lily of the valley, with iris adding elegance and tenderness. Just as a beautiful ring surrounds a precious stone, the bottle encases a glass sphere where the rich and promising perfume shines like a gemstone.
