Her fiery temperament makes her elusive and highly attractive, like Nahema, the princess from one of the tales of “One Thousand and One Nights”, but also like Catherine Deneuve in the movie “Benjamin, Diary of an Innocent Young Man” (Michel Deville, 1968). Jean-Paul Guerlain was so moved by the actress’s performance that he created his perfume inspired by her.

This amber elixir, disturbing and enigmatic, floral and fruity, proved untameable for the perfumer for a long time, like the women who inspired it. This absolute and velvety rose, infused with a peach accord and exalted with patchouli and sandalwood, required four years of work and over five hundred trials.
