L’HOMME IDEAL Line
L’Homme Ideal Eau de Parfum from Guerlain is a Oriental Woody fragrance for men, launched in 2016.
Guerlain introduced the original L’Homme Idéal fragrance in 2014, followed by its lighter and fresher reinterpretation, L’Homme Idéal Cologne, in spring 2015. By April 2016, the brand unveiled a more intense, sensual, and enigmatic version, L’Homme Idéal Eau de Parfum.
Crafted by Guerlain’s in-house perfumer Thierry Wasser in collaboration with Delphine Jelk, this edition is a sophisticated woody-oriental composition. The fragrance highlights a rich almond note enveloped in leather and Guerlinade’s signature vanilla. It opens with bright bergamot, spicy nuances, and almond, leading into a heart of Turkish rose, incense, and vanilla. The base is grounded in sandalwood, leather, and tonka bean, adding depth and warmth.
