When naming it in 1974, Jean-Paul Guerlain chose simplicity for this creation, elevating it to perfection.

Clear and luminous, it evokes the sunny region of Provence and its refreshing summer fountains.

Olfactory notes:

Top notes: fruity notes, basil, bergamot, and lemon.
Heart notes: caraway, carnation, sandalwood, patchouli, lavender, mint, bergamot, rose, and jasmine.
Base notes: amber, musk, neroli, and oakmoss.

The bottle features a swarm of 69 bees, a symbol of the Napoleonic Empire and an emblem of Guerlain’s “Eaux” family.
