L’INTERDIT by Givenchy is a  Amber Floral Eau de Parfum launched in 2018 and crafted by perfumers Dominique Ropion, Anne Flipo, and Fanny Bal.

One of Maison Givenchy’s initial creations, L’Interdit was originally formulated in 1957 for the iconic actress and muse Audrey Hepburn. In 2018, a modern interpretation emerged, juxtaposing a lush bouquet of white flowers with deep, woody, and earthy notes. It blends light florals with intense elements, creating a daring luminosity that dances between light and shadow—an embodiment of the forbidden.

Notes of white flowers like orange blossom, jasmine, and tuberose intertwine with richer, mysterious tones such as vetiver and patchouli. The fragrance exudes an intense, generous radiance unafraid of defiance. Housed in a sturdy glass bottle that pays homage to the original design, it features a modern silhouette and the addition of the 4 G logo on the black ribbon encircling its neck.
